Welcome to Thamesians Rugby Club and this page is to welcome new players to the club and give you a little background to Thamesians Rugby Club set up.
Thamesians are based on Twickenham Green, and have been at the heart of English rugby for 50 years. Over the past two seasons, the club has celebrated its 50th Year being founded in 1962, and recently obtained promotion, semi-final success and greatly increased its player base.
The clubs playing side is led by Ben Penga as Head Coach, with Andrew "Chocs" Philp as 2XV Manager/Coach.
We are also keen to welcome any players who are considering coaching as a next step on their rugby journey.
The club runs two mens teams, along with a vets along with a recently formed ladies team, allowing the transition of players and development of new talent. All levels of ability are welcome, from; Portuguese & Trinidad internationals, to returning-to-the-game players plus those who are totally new to the game.
