Mon 9 Mar 2020 19:30

Dear Member

Notice is hereby given that the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Thamesians Rugby Football Club will be held on:

Monday 9th March 2020 at 7.30pm
Venue: The Pavilion, Twickenham Green, Hampton Road, TW2 5QD

I am aware that it is customary for us to provide 14 days' notice for EGMs, however, we have only just become aware that the club needs to have a position on whether we are interested in moving to Udney by 10th March. Please accept my apologies for the short notice, we are giving members as much notice as is possible in the circumstances. Due to short notice if you are unable to attend but would still like your voice/vote heard please contact me on the email address below.

The agenda for the EGM is listed below.

Please ensure that the Club Secretary is notified no later than 7 days before the meeting of any motions to be considered at the EGM, by e-mail to:

Sam Burlinson, Club Secretary, Thamesians RFC
(Contact Sam)

It is important that the following points are noted regarding involvement in the EGM:

  1. Only fully paid up Club Members are entitled to speak at and vote at the EGM.
  2. Motions for consideration and voting on at the EGM can only be proposed and seconded by fully paid up Club Members. Any members wishing to put forward a motion that affects the constitution of the club must submit the motion to the Club Secretary in writing no later than 7 days before the meeting.
  3. All motions and nominations for elections should be provided to the Club Secretary no later than 7 days before the meeting.

Best regards
Sam Burlinson | Club Secretary | Thamesians RFC
