A change this weekend for us all an early morning kick off, taking us back to the days of youth rugby for some that wasn’t so long ago. It was the first cup game of the season and after a two week break for some of the Spartans; it was a chance to get to carry on from what the start of the season had been about. The warm up wasn’t the greatest and we had just the 15 at the kick off. However this did not phase us we were on the back foot but with some solid defence meant we kept them to only 3 points. Half time came and we went out fighting with the great attack by the backs and forwards, as well as some awesome defence again, we went a few tries down but are heart was shown when the backs attacked the line and the forwards drove on it got us within metres from the try line when Quentin picked the ball up dummied and dived for the line scoring. You could see that the defensive drills during the training sessions where paying off.
Tries: Quentin
