Back to Mens Rugby

It's exciting to be back together and able to train and meet up.

After the events of the last year, the men like everyone else are looking forward to meeting up with friends, running around with the ball and sharing some laughs.

We trained for the first time last Thursday and it was excellent to see the guys playing some rugby, competing and enjoying themselves.

We have some 7's tournaments lined up for the summer months including visiting friends at Abingdon Rugby Club and also the local festival hosted by Richmond Rugby Club at the famous Athletic Ground.

The pandemic has made most of us appreciate the opportunities we have had in the past to play sport and be able to travel freely.

The player's are grateful to be able to play rugby again and are looking forward to experiencing the competition, camaraderie, friendship and community that rugby forges.

We also have our own tournament on the 3rd July at St Mary's University, our new home where both the mens and ladies teams will be hosting our local friends from Teddington RFC.

The day will be a celebration of rugby and community both on and off the field where we will enjoy running around again and competing and having a BBQ and a couple of drinks afterwards.

All the family are welcome to come down and enjoy the rugby and enjoy a nice summers day in a safe and friendly environment.

Please get in touch with via our contact page, if you want to find out more about the day.

The men are currently training at Old Deer Park at 6.30pm on Thursday's. Please let me know if you want to come and have a run around with us.

See you all soon.

Keep safe.
