The RFU has suspended all rugby activities due to the current situation with Coronavirus.
Thus it look like there will be no more games this season.
Additionally Thamesians RFC have taken the decision to close the clubhouse on Twickenham Green for the remainder of the season. A big thanks to retiring bar manager, Rory O’Reilly, for all his efforts on both sides of the bar over the last year and a half.
The club have also decided to postpone the annual awards dinner until next season. Emily Robbins has put a massive effort in to organising this and I’m sure her efforts will be rewarded when the event takes place after the summer.
Any club member who is isolated during this crisis due to being ill or being in a vulnerable category can feel free contact the club for any assistance or deliveries of urgent provisions etc, and as on the pitch we will have each others backs at this difficult time.
